Unsecured financing is when a lender agrees with a borrower to invest money at a pre-agreed financing rate over a pre-defined time. We divide unsecured financing transactions into money market transactions (<12 months) and promissory note transactions (>12 months).

Most money market borrowing and lending is still done over the phone. However, in most other markets we have seen a move towards centralized trading venues. This is why we have created the Instimatch Network.
Our network offers funding in CHF, EUR and USD. Request-For-Quotes (RFQs), with your specific funding request addressed to a pre-selected group of lenders, will be made available on our network shortly.
Promissory notes are getting ever more popular - in Germany for example the market for «Schuldscheindarlehen» has overtaken the conventional lending market. The use of Promissory notes is more specialised in Switzerland, being predominately used as a funding tool in the public sector.
Our network offers funding in CHF and EUR. Both parties, lenders as well as borrowers, see a broader and more diversified pool of possible counterparties, which in turn helps them find the right name/credit for the desired maturity.
