Zürich, 14 August 2018 – Instimatch Global, the new digital network for institutional money market lending, has appointed former wealth management executive and founding member of the Swiss Fintech Innovations association, Lamine Brahimi, as a member of the board.

Brahimi is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Taurus Group SA, a new digital asset platform for trading and investing. He previously served as Deputy COO and Chief Digital Officer of Lombard Odier’s wealth management unit, where he led the development of the bank’s digital strategy, creating several critically acclaimed platforms.

Instimatch Global’s mission is to change the way money market transactions take place by digitalizing traditional voice brokerage and by moving from local to global execution. Its cloud-based network connects borrowers with lenders, providing more efficient access, better pricing and the ability to diversify counterparty risk.

Daniel Sandmeier, Instimatch Global CEO comments: “Lamine brings a rare combination of wealth management and technology expertise. His advice will prove a valuable asset in growing our digital network across Europe. We have ambitious growth plans over the next 12 months and a board with significant experience scaling financial technology businesses in institutional markets to achieve these goals.”

Lamine Brahimi, Member of the Board, Instimatch Global comments: “The adoption of new technology in money markets that will significantly improve efficiency and allow counterparties to better manage risk, is still in its infancy. Instimatch has already built traction and is growing both trading volumes and the number of banks, corporates and asset managers using the platform. I look forward to working closely with the board and wider Instimatch team.”
